Setting Up Voicemail

What Is Voicemail?

Voicemail lets callers leave a message when you are unavailable. Messages are delivered to your email inbox as audio attachments, and you can also listen to them by dialing *97 from your phone.

How to Set Up Voicemail

1

Open the Voicemail Form

Navigate to PBX > Voicemails in the sidebar, then click New Voicemail.

2

Select an Extension

Choose which extension should receive voicemail. Only extensions without an existing voicemail box are shown.

3

Set Your Email Address

Enter the email address where voicemail recordings should be sent. Each new voicemail is delivered as an audio attachment.

4

Set a PIN

Choose a numeric PIN to access your voicemail by phone. The default PIN is 1234. Dial *97 from your extension to listen to messages.

5

Click Create

Your voicemail is now active. Unanswered calls to this extension will automatically go to voicemail.
