Custom Recordings
Upload or record audio files for use as IVR greetings, announcements, voicemail greetings, and music on hold tracks. You can upload a file from your computer or record directly in your browser.
How to Upload a Recording
Navigate to PBX > Recordings
Click New Recording.
Enter a Description and Choose a Category
Describe the recording (e.g., "Welcome message for main line") and select a category.
Upload or Record
Upload an audio file from your computer, or use the built-in audio recorder to record directly in your browser using your microphone.
Recording Categories
📢 Announcement
Messages played to callers before routing to the next destination.
📋 IVR Prompt
Menu greetings for auto-attendants (e.g., "Press 1 for Sales").
🎵 Music on Hold
Audio tracks played to callers while on hold or waiting in a queue.
✉ Voicemail Greeting
Custom greetings callers hear before leaving a voicemail.
📁 General
For any other audio files that do not fit a specific category.
Supported Audio Formats
Automatic Conversion
All uploaded files are automatically converted to PBX-compatible format (8000 Hz, mono, 16-bit WAV). You do not need to pre-process your audio files before uploading.
