Call Recording

Record your inbound and outbound phone calls for training, compliance, or quality assurance. Recordings can be streamed in your browser or downloaded as audio files. Requires the call recording feature on your subscription plan.

How to Enable Call Recording

There are two ways to enable recording, depending on whether you want to record outbound or inbound calls:

📱 Record Outbound Calls

Edit an extension at PBX > Extensions and enable the Record Outbound Calls toggle. Every outbound call made from that extension will be recorded automatically.

☎ Record Inbound Calls

When purchasing or editing a phone number at Telephony > Phone Numbers, enable the Record Calls toggle. Every inbound call to that number will be recorded automatically.


Accessing Your Recordings

Navigate to PBX > Recordings

Your call recordings are listed alongside any custom recordings you have uploaded.

Stream or Download

Click the play button to stream a recording in your browser, or click the download icon to save it as an audio file.

Not the Same as Custom Recordings

Call recordings are automatic recordings of your phone conversations. Custom recordings are audio files you upload or record for use in IVR greetings, announcements, and music on hold — see the Uploading Custom Recordings article for details.
