Using the CRM
LeanPBX CRM
The built-in CRM is deeply integrated with your phone system. Incoming calls automatically show the caller's contact info, calls are logged to the contact timeline, and you can click-to-call directly from any contact record. Requires the CRM feature on your subscription plan.
CRM Modules
👤 Contacts
Store contact details including name, phone, email, company, job title, type (lead, prospect, customer, vendor), and tags. Contacts are matched to incoming calls by phone number.
🏢 Companies
Organize contacts by company. Link contacts to their organization and view all related records in one place.
📝 Notes
Add notes to contacts after calls or meetings. Notes can include call dispositions to categorize the outcome of a conversation.
✅ Tasks
Create follow-up tasks with due dates, priority levels (low, medium, high), and assignees. You receive a reminder email on the day a task is due.
Creating a Contact
Navigate to CRM > Contacts
Click New Contact.
Fill In Contact Details
First Name and Phone are required. You can also add last name, mobile, email, company (create inline if needed), job title, type, and tags.
Click Create
Your contact is saved. When they call in, the CTI popup will display their name and details automatically.
CTI Popup
When a call comes in, a popup appears showing the caller's CRM contact information. You can add notes and set call dispositions directly from the popup without leaving your current page.
