Switching Your Subscription Plan
Changing Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Plan changes take effect immediately, and you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
How to Switch Plans
Open My Account
Click your name in the top-right corner and select My Account.
Review Available Plans
Scroll to the plan section. Each plan shows its name, monthly price, extension limit, and included features.
Click Switch
A confirmation dialog shows the new plan details, the prorated charge, and your balance after the switch.
Confirm the Switch
Click Confirm Switch. The prorated amount is deducted from your balance immediately, and you receive a confirmation email.
How Prorated Billing Works
📊 Prorated Charge Formula
(Days remaining in the month ÷ Total days in the month) × New plan monthly price = Amount charged today
For example, switching to a $99.99 plan on the 15th of a 30-day month: (15 ÷ 30) × $99.99 = $50.00.
Important Notes
Downgrade Restriction
If you have more active extensions than the new plan allows, you must disable or remove extensions before switching. The system will show an error with the exact counts.
Switching to a Free Plan
If the new plan has a monthly price of $0, no prorated charge applies. The switch is free.
